Sunday Morning Service begins at 10 am with second hour and fellowship following immediately after. There are opportunities for all ages during second hour.
What To Expect
Over the years, many people have commented about what a “friendly and welcoming” church Third Reformed is. We certainly hope that is your experience. Whether you’re looking for a new church home or simply visiting, we value your presence with us!
The worship service at Third is a blend of traditional and contemporary. We follow a traditional worship liturgy, but the elements often include poetry or song. We value all ages generation and plan our services to include a blend of strive to be a place where all feel comfortable worshiping. This is reflected in our music as well: you might hear an organ, piano, brass quartet, bell choir, praise team, adult or youth choir, or guest soloist – or any combination of the above. And, of course, the congregation is invited to lift their voices on hymns and praise songs as well.
Once a month (usually the first Sunday of the month), we partake in Communion. Any believer in Jesus or a member of the body of Christ is welcome at the Lord’s table. We will have a gluten-option.
The only thing we want you to wear to our church is an open heart that wants to worship in community! Come as you are, and feel welcome.
Parents of little children, please feel welcome! We take great care with our nursery and a 'Little Lambs' room for the youngest among us. And don't worry; we have a visual paging system if your child should need you during the Sunday morning service.
Children in Worship
Children are welcome at Third! To begin, we all join together as one large congregation. But early in the service, children ages four through third grade are called to the front of the church for a special children’s message.
They then go with their teachers to Children in Worship time, a service geared for their age and grade levels.
Following Sunday Morning service, please join us in the Fellowship Hall for coffee, tea, or punch, and cookies. We’d love to meet you and get to know you!
Sunday School/Adult Education
Sunday school is also offered for all ages from the youngest to
children in fourth grade through high school, mid-September to early June.
A variety of Adult Education classes are offered as well, including monthly series, and guest speakers.
